All Weekend
While you’re strolling down Main Street, take the time to hunt for the hidden holiday symbols in select businesses’ windows. For a chance to win a prize, fill out and submit a form online, or pick one up from the Visitor’s Bureau and drop the completed form in Santa’s mailbox at Mid’s Park.
Pull out your best Christmas attire and show it off while strolling through town. Take a photo in front of your favorite shop or restaurant and post it to Instagram. For your chance to win a prize, make sure to follow and tag @lpholidayvillagestroll! We’re looking for more than an ugly sweater and please, no Santa costumes!
We want to see your festive furry friends! Take a photo of your pet dressed in their best holiday gear as they’re out enjoying Stroll Weekend and post it to Instagram. For your chance to win a prize, make sure to follow and tag @lpholidayvillagestroll! The winning pet will receive a prize from Man & Beast!
Get ready for the highly anticipated opening of the FIL World Cup Season as Lake Placid proudly hosts the first of nine FIL tour stops! Don’t miss your opportunity to join the crowd and experience the thrill of World Cup Luge, the fastest sport on ice!

Friday, December 8
3PM – 7PM | Terry Robards Wine & Spirits
Start Stroll weekend off with wine tasting at Terry Robards Wine & Spirits!
Plus a book signing by Julie Jingles at 4pm!
4PM – 6PM | Pure Placid
Join Pure Placid for an evening of creating and fun! They will be serving their special Holiday Jingle Juice (a festive alcoholic drink- Non-Alcoholic available by request ) and personal charcuterie cups. You can sip and mingle while you create custom designed fire starters.
4:30PM – 7PM | Olympic Museum
Head over to the Olympic Center before or after the skating party and make a medal! All craft supplies will be provided.
5PM – 6:30PM | 1932 Rink
Join us at the Olympic Center 1932 Rink for a family skating party! There will be skate rentals available onsite. Some little elves also told us that Santa might make an appearance!
6PM – 9PM | Generations Tap & Grill
Join Generations for their live music series featuring Scott Sileo.
6PM – 9PM | The Cottage
Grab your ugliest sweater and head over to The Cottage for a chance to win a prize!
Saturday, December 9
8:30AM | Mirror Lake Beach House
Help support the Fit for Life Scholarship Program! Join the festive, colorful, holiday spirit-filled 2.5 mile run/walk around Mirror Lake. Don’t forget to wear your best holiday costume for a chance to win a prize!

10AM-2PM | Adirondack Community Church
A great place to pick up some great local Christmas gifts for yourself or your friends & family!
10AM-3PM | Lake Placid Library
The LP Public Library will have crafts, board games, and a jigsaw puzzle set up for people to stop in and warm up.
11AM | St. Eustace Church
The one and only Julie Jingles will get everyone in the holiday spirit with sing-alongs before reading her very own book, The Reindeer Games.
11AM- 4PM | Pure Placid
Bring your kids in for candle making and decorating fun! They will leave with a custom made candle to gift or keep, along with a bag of cookies and a candy cane. This will be so much fun!
Must be under 16 years old.
12PM | Mid’s Park
Get ready to welcome the big guy himself! Santa and his elves will arrive by firetruck to Mid’s Park where they stop and take photos.
12PM – 1:30PM | Mid’s Park
Stop by, say hi to Santa, and get your photo taken*! Don’t forget to bring your letters to Santa!
*Bring your phone or camera – there is no photographer.
There will also be free hot chocolate + ornaments and hats for sale.
12PM – 5PM | Little Blue House
Meet and take photos with SPRINKLES! He will be handing out free cookies and candy canes. All children can pick out a free holiday ornament to take home (while supplies last.)
1:30PM – 3:30PM | St. Agnes
Join in the fun and make something festive!
2PM – 5PM | The Boat Tasting Room
2PM – 5PM | Alpine Mall
The Maker’s Market to benefit The North Elba Christmas Fund is back this year! Stop in to this open air farmer’s market style event. It’s a great opportunity to get a taste of the region.
4PM – 6PM | Pure Placid

11:30AM | Big Slide Brewery & Public House
Come listen to Dartmouth College’s oldest historically female a cappella group while you enjoy brunch!
11AM | Palace Theatre
The annual matinee of The Polar Express is back! Put on your comfy holiday pajamas and head down to the Palace Theatre. The first 200 children (under the age of 12) will receive a special gift!
8AM – 4:30PM | Whiteface Mountain
Mark your calendars for another year of holiday spirit and fun at Whiteface Mountain! All Santa’s ski for FREE (must be in FULL Santa Suit to receive discount.) You may pick up your lift ticket at the Whiteface Ticket window and be sure to meet at the top of the Cloudsplitter Gondola at 10AM for this year’s group photo!
